Gulliver’s Walking Street

It’s rarely known as “Gulliver’s”, more commonly being known as the “Red Car Bar” due to the intense pink Cadillac stuck to the wall alongside the narrow alley which takes you as much as the doorway. Very nearly the first bar you come to once you enter Walking Street from the Beach Road end. Inside, you will see a form of pub-like structure, with pool tables, cubicles and a long central bar. On the far end is a small dancefloor and the DJ’s stage, from which native talent play mixture of hip-hop and R&B music.

Thailand is a Southeast Asian country. It’s known for tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha. In Bangkok, the capital, an ultramodern cityscape rises next to quiet canalside communities and the iconic temples of Wat Arun, Wat Pho and the Emerald Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Kaew).
